When I was a little kid, my favorite thing to do was make weird creatures.
I made tiny monsters, I called "shrimpys," out of pipe cleaners in 5th grade. Everyone wanted one. I sold them for a quarter. They became so popular that recess developed a full "shrimpy" economy.
In middle school, during my peak cool days, I would spend every hour of every weekend in the basement making animals, thingamabobs, and puppets out of whatever I could find.
One summer I decided all I wanted to do was make tiny fimo turtles. Hundreds of them. I genuinely don't know why. I don't even like turtles.
Basically, no one should be confused or surprised that now, as a fully formed adult, I do this.
